illtoustrate-giving examples explain something   eg.The  teacher illtoustrated the reason,then we can uderstand clearly.

subsequent-later                  eg.You are the subsequent student.

quagmire-a large and soft wet area               eg.A man fell in  the quagmire ,he was very dangerous.

original: the British prime minister was replaced. Colonial negotiators began to assemble in Paris.

assemble-gather together               eg. we should assemble to disscuss the questions.
